How to change SAP program

Dear experts,

Our developer asked that he must change SAP program as follows.

program name : sapmzpsad001_if

transaction name : zps003n

I changed the options of "Changes and Transports Client-Specific Objects" and "Cross-Client Objects" in /SCC4.

I replaced all options of "Set System Change Option" with 'Modifiable' in /SE03.

But he couldn't change sapmzpsad001_if.

Please let me know how to change SAP program.

To change an SAP standard program you need to have an access key.Try to meet the requirements with the available user exits.

When you are copying a SAP standard program always copy it through SE80.

IFU WANT TO CHANGE THE NAME OF TE PROGRAM THEN COPY THE PROGRAM WITH UR NAME AND CREATE A NEWTRANSACRTION ID FOR TAHT PROGRAM.

hi,

normally you need object key (provided by OSS) to change a standard SAP program. However this sapmzpsad001_if is NOT a standard SAP program (neither the transaction code). Changes in SCC4 are not necessary (excpet if you want to change something not in the normal DEV system...). On the other hand I have no idea, why your developer was not able to change the program. Copying here the error message he got, would be helpful

Thank you for your advices.

It was very helpful for me to solve it.

I solved it, the problem is as follows.

A developer changed a transaction on DEV, (it's not standard transaction and program) and then implemented it on PRD with CTS.

But it wasn't implemented on PRD, yesterday.

In this morning, we tried it again.(The change was transported again)

It worked.

I think there are some mistakes in first change.

I learned a lots from your advices.

I appriciate your advices.
