How to call an external XML function from ABAP

Hi everyone.

I'm trying to call a remote XML function located on the internet (a web service) from an executable ABAP program...

So, I think it could exist an useful FM to achieve this... I've found this one SWU_WEBRFC_R3F_POST (and also the GET), but I don't know how it works.

I've also took a look at the forums and weblogs about consuming a web service from ABAP, but the problem is that all of them guide me through WAS, when I need to do it with pure ABAP.

Somebody can help??
