How enter the data into classification data for particular material

HI,

I used LSMW Direct input method to create materials. But i need to enter the data for classification view for particular material as the fields are not available in that direct input method. How can i solve this issue.

I gone throug some forms saying that we have one more program which is RCCLBI02 to populate the classification view data for particular material. But how can i paas the material number as there is no field for material number in that program.

Hi,

Hopefully you have solved your problem already. You need to change the material after you have created the material to create the classificatin view.

Based on your approach to load the materials, you can load classification data in many different ways. I used the BAPI, BAPI_OBJCL_CREATE followed by BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT to create the classification view.
