how download: Data from Interface into SAP?

In an Interface (out of SAP):

All stolen materials and their serial numbers are storaged in the Interface. User maintains this information manually in SAP.

User wants that be created/developed a new functionality, in SAP, that:

The stolen material and serial numbers data should be downloaded automatically and daily from Interface to SAP.

What are the options I have to give a solution for this purpose. If more the one option is possible, what is the simplest and faster solution?

Hi

It depends on what the interface is, the faster and easier solution can be to generate a file with the data to be uploaded in SAP.

So u can create a BDC program reads that files and upload the data.

Hi!

The easiest solution is to read directly the tables of the NON-SAP system directly from SAP.

For this you have to know, what kind of database server is the NON-SAP system running on? (oracle, ms-sql, etc...)

Then you have to write a batch job, which is using NATIVE SQL statements.

If you post any more details on the databes, we might help you in this.
