help needed with scii

Hi all,

what is the difference between T code SCI and SCII AND ITS AVAILABLE IN SYSTEM ABOVE 4.6 C

MY QUESTIONS ARE

1) DOES SCII CHECKS FOR UNICODE ERRORS IN NON UNICODE SYSTEM I.E 4.6 C

2) I HEARD THAT I CAN INSTALL OR DOWNLOAD OR I DON'T KNOW THE EXACT WAY, BUT I CAN GET T-CODE SCII IN 4.6C SYSTEM TOO

1-I dont think SCII checks does not help you to do the unicode check,for unicode you have to make your system unicode enable.

Whenever an organization going for the unicode enable ,he has to purchase the required things from SAP.

Unicode means a code which understand all the language all over the world,so the companies makes there systems unicode enable as per there business requireemnt.

Hi Venki,

Both SCI and SCII basically run Code inspector but with SCII we can specify what all checks we need to perform .

Also,SCII does not check UNICODE compliance .

Thank you for your replies.

I have one more question is there a way that i can find the obsolete FM and Commands when we are grading from 4.6c to ECC 6 , or its done only after moving all programs into ECC 6
