per SAP help - The SPA/GPA attribute only appears if you created the corresponding selection criterion using 'MEMORY ID xxx. You can switch the SPA/GPA handling on and off in the variant. This means that fields filled using SPA/GPA appear with their initial values after you have loaded a variant in which those fields have an initial value.
If your selection criteria is declared as above, got to the variant attributes in change mode & select the Switch GPA off checkbox.

se38> enter the report name> select the readiobutton 'Variants' & select change
on the next screen> select the variant from the drop down> click on the radiobutton Attributes--> hit change.
