Hi Guru's,

in table VEKP, field venum and EXIDV.

Any conversion routine exist to convert VENUM to EXIDV.

my requiment is to find the next available EXIDV number.

EXIDV field is 24 char in VEKP. But as per our client requirement, it should lie in between 000 & 999 for one shipment number.

in database i can find 10 char value in EXIDV field.

have u come across this type of scenario.

IF you know, please help me.

Hi

Try to use conversion_exit_alpha_output with passing EXIDV number and retrieve it to a 3 cahr long field only.
