Globalization Services (GS) is a Department of SAP AG:

The Mission Statement of our department is:

Globalization Services

is a project-driven organization with the goal

to optimize SAP’s globalization offering

including internationalization, localization,

and translation to our customers. GS

implements a consistent, market-driven

globalization strategy across all SAP

solutions. SAP customers and Customer

Services and Operations will have GS as a

trusted advisor on all globalization topics.

- Localization: Developing local legal functions on SAP solutions. Eg. India Payroll.

- Inernationalization: For example Unicode

- Translation: Making SAP solutions multi-lingual.
