hi seshu,
good question.
global instance - > Some times a company will dvlp a product for the world wide implementation.
so for the global use.
that is called gloab instance
other case is country wise product development. it is easier to use and maintanence result in less cost.
Jetforms - > it is a canadain s/w firm. now aquired by ADOBE.

Hi Seshu,
What is Global Instance?
A design pattern which ensures that a class has only one instance, and which provides a global point of reference to that instance.
What is JetForms?
JetForms was an Ottawa-based company specializing in enterprise printing, which renamed itself Accelio a few years back and was then acquired by Adobe.
Some of Adobe's Interactive Forms solution in SAP, such as the XML Forms Architecture, is partly based on former JetForms expertise.
