GGB0 issue.............

Hi Techies,

I am facing a problem, that once I am going to create validation under GGB0; then once click on Prerequisite, under prerequisite Table field is there, which are already system standard, but I want to add my Z-customize table fields , how it is possible.

Please help me out.

Hi,

Is your Z customize  field available in BSEG or BKPF table then you can create your validation?

otherwise you can  add z field in any table using appened structure.

then you can validate the same.

As far as I know, customer fields can not be used in validations / substitutions. We fought with this problem in ECC 6.0 / ANLA (asset accounting). Needed to ABAP the checks / substitutions.

For not-FI standard table use Customer exits :

Special Purpose Ledgers

• Tools
  • Validations, Substitutions, and Rules
    • User Exits in Validations/Substitutions/Rules
