getting field and table

hai all

Is there any easy method to find the table name and field name from short description for a particular field?

(i had only short description of a particular field..i need field name and table name )

kindly help

see Table DD03L.

you should be able to search for short description there.

DD02T is table which contains all table names texts

DD03T is table which contains all fields names texts

u can go through these tables and find the table and field

required

Goto SE15 T-code

ABAP Dictionary -> Fields -> Table fields

Give the Short description

and F8.
