Getting a Dump BCD_BADDATA

Hi Experts,

I getting a dump BCD_BADDATA in standard program.

standard program is using DB table J_2IEXTRCT. In this table

field EXTRCTDATA has data type LCHAR length 1024 which contains normal alphanumeric value as well as hexadecimal.

We ran standard program in ecc5.0 and its running fine. But when we upgraded that box to ECC 6.0 then data of field EXTRCTDATA get distorted in the table J_2IEXTRCT.

Is it problem in unicode upgradation of DATABASE ?

Do any one know reason behind this.

This Info is not enough..... can you please Post the Short Dump or give the program name and transaction,,,, In which there is short dump....

Hi Vijay,

Hope you resolved your issue. I am also getting error when I ran the standard report. If you can help me in this regard it wil be of great help.

Where did you get this error? while extracting the register or displaying the register?
