So, we have a new requirement to create a large number of analysis auths at a highly detailed hierarchy levels.
I am planning to generate them instead of creating each one manually. I did not take this approach previously.I have identified the Field values which have to be populated in the DSO, I am reading ito this and cannot find an excel file template which can be loaded into the DSO.
Is this something the BI team gives us? or is it something which is a default for the 0TCA_DSO01, 0TCADSO02 etc?
does someone have a template of this file in a csv format?

Talk to the BW developer as there are several activities needed to performed before you can start generating. Developers will also be able to figure out the format as it will depend upon what data you are pulling in to BW
Caution: You should not be generating authorizations for all objects are securing against.

There is a BI accelerator / white paper for doing exactly this.
I did this several years ago for a European bank, that had several thousand hierarchical authorisations that we had to convert to analysis authorisations.
We managed to do this in a couple of days following the step by step instructions in the BI accelerator / white paper, which I originally found it by searching the internet.
The RSSM version existed in an ASAP paper - "How to - Generate BW authorisation profiles from a Flat File", I think the concept is similar putting the info you want to have in the analysis auths into ODS templates.
RSECADMIN has an option Authorisations -> Generation of Authorisations, that works with 0TCA_DS01 for authorisation data and 0TCA_DS02 for hierarchies. Your BW team will know how to get the data in the correct format to populate these DataStore objects.
