HI ,

First of all we can't install OS in Non-Primary Partitions ,

i don't know whetjer u r D drive is primary or secondry ,

if u r formatting OS partition means u r all installed files will delete so u r SAP also will not work so , reinstall u r OS and again u have to install SAP k ,

My Suggetion is to install OS in Primary Partition (Generally C Drive ) k

THX

Hi,

SAP is just an application just like any other one.

So if its installed in C , drive and you are formatting the D drive, its working will not be affected.

But as you are telling , you have the OS in D drive, so better, install another copy of XP in C drive and then go ahead with the formatting of D drive. In case you format the D drive, without having XP in C, then you may need to install the drivers again for SAP.

Regards.
