Functional Spec review!

Hi,

Can anyone tell me like how to review a functional spec.

As a part of development team, now we have to review the functional spec and then approve it or cancel it or suggest them with some modifications.

Actually I haven't worked on this sort of tasks before. So any sort of help would be useful for me!

As a Developer, you will need to be told WHAT the task is.. you will figure out the best possible way to accomplish it.. For ex: if the task is a report, the func spec should tell you what the Selection screen should look like & what info needs to be shown on the output.. some Analysts are pretty good & go to the extent of giving you the table/Field names etc..

Thank you Suresh!

Can you tell me like, if ever I need to check wether the report or bapi or function module is already existing for that particular business process, how can I do it?

And one more thing, like if ever I feel it can be feasible and if I approve the spec, is it going to be me who have to assist the developer while realization phase, this is all because I approved the spec!!!!!
