Hello, can anyone explain me what is the function of the EKBE, and when is the information posted to the table?
Can a PO have accounting document without having entries in EKBE?
TIA

Hi Scott,
EKBE-- is History data of a Purchasing document. It also consists Accounting document also.
I don't think it is possible.
The relation betweeen Billing and EKBE is :
BSAK-EBELN and BSAK-EBELP
in EKBE-EBELN and EKBE-EBELP.

When a GR, IR, LIV or other document is posted against a PO, an entry is made in EKBE. If the document is just created and doesn't have any activity against it, there won't be an entry. It's easy to check. Just go to SE16 and see if there are gaps in the PO numbers.
