Function Module similar to GET_FIELDTAB

Hi Gurus,

I want an alternate or similar function module to 'GET_FIELDTAB' along with some documentation of it which will give name ,description, datatype,starting position etc.

it is obsolete now.I want some new one with documentation to understand.

Use FM CACS_GET_TABLE_FIELDS.
