function module package name change

hi

I need to change the name of the package which i have already assigned to particular function module

so i went to tat particular FM and object directory entry and tried changing it, it say lock

it say request of task locked could u plz tell how should i go about.....

You can check in [SCN |]before posting.

so that you can get the idea about that.

hi,

go to se37.

give the custom FM -> display.

then ->goto->object directory entry-> change mode .

the you can change package.

note the person reponsible should not be SAP. Then you cant change.

but folks i tried doing the same it says

Z*_CUSTOMER_EXITS locked for request/task and displays the request id ...so i think i have to delete no clear idea let me know...

hi,

go to SE09 ->display.

double click the package number that it was showing as locked in pop up,

then select the row containig your FM and give delete row. save.

then goto se37.

give your FM in display mode and follow the same process to save it (go to -> object dir entry...) will work.
