Function module for changing the service line item quantity, rate, cost centre and G/L account

Hi,

I am developing a UI5 application which is supposed to replace the current me53n for approving purchase requisition.

There one requirement is to change the quantity, rate, cost centre and G/L account if needed for a particular sub-line in a service line.

I received tables ESLL, ESKL which stores the service line data except cost centre and G/L account.

I am not understanding how to relate individual sub-line within a service line with a particular cost centre as cost centre data is not maintainined in those tables.

How can I relate individual sub-line within a service line with a particular cost centre through any table?

Is there any function module for changing service items sub-lines?

Hi Subhabaha Pal,

You can  use function module BAPI_PR_CHANGE to Changing an item with account assignment with regard to quantity, delivery date, and G/L account .

Go to tcode : BAPI -> Alphabetical Tab -> PurchaseRequisition -> Change1 -> Documentation for details view of what are mandatory parameters you have to pass in this Bapi function Module.

Hi Sagar,

Thanks a lot. I have gone through the function module BAPI_PR_CHANGE. It has option for entering new service lines, however, old service line format and new service line format is somewhat different.

Furthermore in order to get the format of the table (relevant data) for BAPI_PR_CHANGE, I need to run BAPI_PR_GETDETAILS as I have done for BAPI_REQUISITION_GETDETAILS AND BAPI_REQUISITION_CHANGE.

But strangely here I find that in BAPI_PR_GETDETAILS, no data is coming in the service line item table though I have service line-items in the PR.

Can you please help?

Hi Subhabaha Pal,

Use Bapi BAPI_REQUISITION_GETDETAIL .

You will get all the necessary Service level details as well as Item Level Details inside this Bapi.

In below snapshot, there is only 1 line item is there inside that 2 services are attached. So you can get the details in highlighted Internal Table.

You have to do mapping manually to pass the values in BAPI_PR_CHNAGE.

Yes I have seen that service lines are coming through the FM BAPI_REQUISITION_GETDETAIL.

For updating BAPI_PR_CHANGE, can you please tell me which table I need to update for modified service line-items as there are 2 tables - SERVICELINE and SERVICELINEX.

Servicelinex table format is somewhat different. So if similar type of application you have done for service line update, it will be of great help to me if you can send me a test format for updating the tables in the BAPI_PR_CHANGE function module.

SERIAL_NO = 01

GL_ACCOUNT = 0000410000

Parameter: PRACCOUNTX

PREQ_ITEM = 00010

SERIAL_NO = 01

PREQ_ITEMX = X

SERIAL_NOX = X

GL_ACCOUNT = X

Same for the SERVICELINE - Pass the new value of required parameter which you want to change and in SERVICELINEX - pass the value 'X' of above fields where you have changed the value from old to new.

Hi Sagar,

     Is it possible to delete a service line item using BAPI_PR_CHANGE?

     I can add a new service line for example from 1 service line to 2 service line but i cant delete, from 2 services line to 1.

     Below is my example code but unfortunately its not deleting the service line.

ls_servicesline-doc_item = '00010'.

ls_servicesline-outline  = '0000000001'.

ls_servicesline-srv_line = '0000000020'.

ls_servicesline-del_ind   = 'X'.

APPEND ls_servicesline TO lt_servicesline.
