Function module copy

Hi experts,

I need to copy the existing z function module code to new z function module with the same function group. I don’t want to change function group name. Please send me the steps to do this. I will reward the points. Please help me.

Go to SE37

Go to Function Module -> other functions -> copy

type the name of the old and new function module and the same function group as the old one

click on Copy

Activate your new function module

Hi babji,

1. Go To SE80 -> Select Function Group -> Enter your Function Group name.

2. Select The Function Module which you want to copy and right click it.

3. From the menu -> select "Copy".

4. From the menu -> Change the target FM name & Enter.

5. Now Your FM is Copied with the Same Function Group.

Note: to find out the function group of your function module, display the function module and go to the Attributes tab

Check what is written in the Function Group field

Hi,

Goto SE 37.

Enter the function module name.

click on copy button or ctrl+F5.

A new window pops up. in that enter the source and target function module name.

as per ur requirement u dont want to change the function group so enter the name of the function group in which u want to store the target function module.

click on copy.

Now activate the target function module.

go to <b>se37</b> transaction

in that transaction give your function module name.

in that screen ve <b>copy</b> button or click <b>ctrl+F5</b> .

a pop asks you <b>from function module</b>

<b>to function module</b>

<b>function group</b>

you can mention whatever you want ....

hi babaji,

u have function group and function module(original).

from se80 -> right click-> click on rename option there give ur new functioj module.....

or

u want original and u want to copy the code from orginal to temp fun module copy the source to from org to temp func module and give the func group name.
