Function module / API to update product hierarchy

Hi

I am looking for a BAPI/Function module /API within ABAP to be able to update product hierarchy ( create new product hierarchy string, be able to update product hierarchy description at different levels ) etc ?

What is the best way to go about this ?

Write bdc for V/76, but it will ask for a request no.

Not sure how you will handle this

There is no fm or bapi for this.
