Formatting a mail

Hi,

I need to send a mail through my ABAP Program. The content of the mail is the content of an Internal Table.

I need to format the content of the Internal Table with proper spacing and heading.

Somebody please help me in this regard.

Hello,

If u r using the FM SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 to send the mail.

Then declare the int. table

DATA OBJCONT LIKE SOLI OCCURS 0 WITH HEADER LINE.

For example if ur data table is itab.

LOOP at itab.

COcatenate d1 f2 f3 into objcont-line separated by ' '.

endloop.

Try like this.

HI,

U can create Standard Texts (SO10) and use this in the abap program for filling up the Mail Contents by Internal Table Data using REPLACE command.

Before u use REPLACE Call the Functionl Module "READ_TEXT".

NOTE:

In the Standard Texts U can use &1, &2, &3..... etc... for which u are replacing the Internal Table content in ABAP Program.

Hi!

My problem is that while displaying internal table details in the mail body....under each heading...if any field value is blank...the next field value shifts left. so i need to know that if a field has 7 characters and is blank(no data) for that record..nxt field value should start from 8th position.

should i format using write statement?

or any function module exists for formatting?

Am sending sample Code where I will be copying "t_line" with Internal Table contents and Finally taking it into t_mailtext.

This "t_mailtext" is used as the body of the Mail.....

The future formatting can be done in Standard Text without changing the ABAP Code
