FMs for data compression during archiving

Please let me know if there are any function modules that can be used during archiving for data compression.

Hi Swetha,

Archiving is a process moving the documents from one location in a computer memory to another location in a compact format ( or in a zip format ) .This helps in utilizing the active memory to store the currently active documents in an organization.

To archive the material master, transaction MM71.
