Fixed Assets data transfer

Hi All,

I have been given the requirement to transfer the Fixed Assets data from ECC 6.0 system into a flat file. Apparently i m asked to use the same program existing previously in the company, which is using the T.code AR01(program RABEST_ALV01), after making some modifications that fits the current requirement. I have never worked on fixed assets. Can someone tell me what does the transaction code AR01 does? How might it be used to extract data? Please tell me as much as you know.

Hi,

Go to SE38 Take the corresponding program - RABEST_ALV01 for the Tcode, select the documentation radio button and read the text. It gives you an idea what Tcode - AR01 is doing.
