Finding the previous active user status

Can anyone tell me how I can find the previous active user status for a work order. The criteria is, I want to find only the previous active user status with a status number. Please help

Hi,

you can find the valid ststus in JEST and the history in JCDS. Hope this helps.

Hi Joshi,

You can get the same from the table JCDS

Pass OR<order no> as object, User status starts with 'E' and the field CHGNR will give you the sequence no

so you can easily detrmine which was the last user status active.

Yes I know JCDS table will give the history of all the user statuses for a particular object number. But if i have activated an order using the user status with status number and user status without status number, then both gets saved in the JCDS table and I need only the status with a status number. Actually my requirement is to perform an operation only if the previous active user status is different from the current one. JCDS table gives only the status number and not the status profile. If you take this user status and check in TJ30T table, you may be able to find many user status texts associated with it. So I will not be able to compare the current user status with the previous user status incase, both have the same status numbers. Hope I have made myself clear. Is there any function module to find this out.

Hi,

to get the Status Profile look in table JSTO with OBJNR of your work order. In tables TJ30 and TJ30T you can find out the meaning and description of the status depending on this status profile ...

you can find in info type 0000 field massn. check the info type.
