Finding Object type using Object Key

Hi all,

Can anyone guide how to find Object type (BUS2081) using Object key (Invoice number + Fiscal year). Are there any FM or tables that can be looked upon? I had tried with couple of FMs and tables but could not get any relation.

if you know that its a invoice then its a fixed object type for it.

why do you want to find the object type again?

Take a look at table SWOTDV "Object Type Verbs Definition" (select VERBTYPE "Verb type (key, attr., method)" equal to 'K' for keys)
