hi there,

is there any general way to find user exits.

what i used so far is

1. finding call customer-function in peogram

2. and i used one report developed by some one to find user exits, the report used some db tables like modsap,cadsap..etc. (i could not tell this in interview!!?)

3. thru se84, using node enhancements (i used this one for badi)

hi Venkat,

In order to find out the user exits for any tcode,

1. get the developement class of the tcode from SE93.

2. Now goto transaction SMOD and press F4,

3. give in the Deve class in the dev class and Press ENTER

this will show u the exits for any tcode.

or execute this report

Santosh

thanks santhosh,

it is just similar to what i did thru se80 or se84.

i used to take development class from program attributes. with that i normally search for exits in se80.

Hi

I did not find any development Group in SE93.

Is it same as Package of a Transaction? Also I did not find option of development Class in Transaction SMOD.

Could any one please help me out with the same?

Thanks in advance.

hi jigar,

yah ur right, both are same. with that package name...

-->go to se80 or se84. you can find a node called 'enhancements'.. below that u can find 2 child nodes 1. for badi 2. for exits(enhancements). click on it. it will ask the search creteria..in that u will find a parameter for package..enter the name and press enter you will get all enhancements in that package.

but it's your work to find one suitable for ur tramsaction and 4 requirement.
