hi there,
i created a table with some fields(data elements with field labels,domains all activated). table is also active.
when i go to SM30, to maintain the table i dont see field name for the fields there. what could be the reason.

Pawan,
Are you sure you generated the SM30 table maint, after giving the proper DATA Elements that have description.
That is the only reason why you would not see the descriptions. My gut feel is that the DATA element does not have the descriptions. Generate one more time, if possible.

hi pawan,
i think the heading doesn't appear for u..
double click the data element of the particular field..
then in the FIELD LABEL tab..enter the SHORT, MEDIUM,LONG AND HEADING values..

Please check if you have maintained the FIELD LABELS for the data elements.

HI,
Check whether u have specified the Field Label for the data element or see what have u specified in Delivery/Maintenance tab for DataBrowser/Table view maintenance.
