Field Length for Notes field

Hi,

I want to know the field length for notes field.

In the structure TLINE, for TDLINE component it is mentioned as 132 but during the document entry FB60 (vendor invoice) I am able to enter more than 10000 chars, so I want to know what is the maximum no of chars I can maintain in this notes.

Hi ,

there is no limit for Long text field , field length is 132 , but it will creates N no of lines.

like

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
