fetching data on Selection screen

Hi,

consider that you have 2 fields on the selection screen, say - PO and Vendor.

What i need to do is, that when i provide a value in the PO field, system should automatically fetch the value for vendor, without hitting ENTER or any other key.

Can anyone explain that to me,

I don't think this is possible. Any kind of user event is mandatory to achieve your requirement.

i dont understand why you have such wiered requirements?

Secondly as far as my experience and underastanding goes this thing is not possible ...you have to press nay ker on the vendor afetr entering the data in the PO to get the corresponding values in the Vendor.

To do so just add customise F4 help in the event AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON VALUE REQUEST.
