Fail to execute ENQUEUE_READ

Hi,

In order to check if a material ( mara-matnr) is locked or not i use the FM : ENQUEUE_READ to read the lock object . But in some user i have no athority to execute this, Beside adding autho to these users , do we have any solutions else...

PS: Do you know which table contain the lock entries ?
