Extracting data from SAP

Hi,

The requirement is to extract transactional data out of SAP which is to the tune of 600MB.

Can i have some pointers on the data extraction techniques from R/3 for these data volumes within a duration of half an hour or so.Are there any programming or alternative techniques to achieve that?

One solution is extract the data directly from the server .

SAP provides an interface toolbox (PU12) but this is to complex for a one time job.

If you want to download simple database tables use SE16 or SE16N.
