Hello friends,

What is Extract ?

When we have to use Extract?

I saw in FICO Reports, They are using the Logical Data Base concept and the Extract Concept.But iam not getting the clear idea.Even by seeing in Help File also.

Please Give some Brief idea on Extract data set.

Hi,

Extract statement is used to fill the records with data that are created using field groups.

Field groups are used for creating records of different structures.where as internal tables are with same structure.
