External Data transfer

i am new to ABAP.i have the following queries on external data transfer:

how can read the file from external ftp server to sap ?

which FMs are used?

please specify with an example code with all the transactions used and explain it if possible .

hi friend,

check the program RSFTP002.

by executing FTP commands we can move the file to our desktop and from there running the normal program to read & post

FTP Commands are available in
