Extended IDoc

Hi,

I have created an extended IDoc for a standard basic IDoc type. Also, inserted a z-segment in that. When I double click on the z-segment in we30, I am able to see the segment fields but when I click on the standard segments which have come from the basic IDoc, are getting displayed. it is giving an error message that 'no attributes for segments....'.

i have released the z-segment and the extended IDoc also.

How can I see the fields for standard segments in we30?

What is the wrong in this?

Hi,

That is a normal behaviour. You are viewing the extension in we30 (as you have selected the radiobutton 'Extension' in the first screen of we30). So only the extended segments will be shown.

If you view the basic type through we30 you can see those standard segments.

Reward points if useful.

Regards,

Soumya.

Hi Soumya,

But the middle-ware(Biztalk) people are not able to see the created extended IDoc. Why is it so?
