Extend cds based bopf with custom subnode

Hello everyone, i have a requirement to enhance standard cds based bopf with custom subnode, custom actions and determination. Also add custom actions and determination to standard node in cds based bopf. Ui is built on abap programming model for fiori. Created subnodes should be available in ui as well. I explored and found it is possible to extend custom fields via both key user extensibility and developer extensibility. But no blogs on new subnodes and custom actions and determination. Please support here. Am trying to enhance change record in sap plm.

As per SAP note @#3104271, Extending an SAP-delivered CDS-based BOPF Business Object with an additional node is not possible. Moreover Functional Extensibility is only supported via BAdI, which may be provided by the application, which owns the Business Object.
