Exporting SAP data into Excel

Do you know what would cause an export of data into a spreadsheet to go from a table export to where I have to save it first before it will export? My I.T. team swears they didn't change anything, but from 1 day to the next, I am not able to create a temporary table file that I can copy and paste into an Excel Spreadsheet and not have to save the file that's was exported.

This change is due to latest support pack installation. With the latest Suppprt Pack installation, you would be first forced to save the import data before it is opened in Excel
