Export an ALV into .CSV

Hi Expert,

I have a specific program that generate an ALV

I have to basic SAP functionality to export the data in this program

My question is how can I export the data directly to .CSV format ? (without passing through any new developpment)

Is their any customizing possible to change the export parameters ?

Dear Nazim,

In the ALV report use (ctrl+shift+f9)->it will ask "In which format should the list
be saved ?"  ---> select spread sheet and give the filename with the extenstion as CSV. When generate-> It will generate the CSV file in the directory mentioned.

Hi Naveen

The CSV file is "comma separated" which doesn't correspond to the extraction to spreadsheet (even if you change the extension to .csv).

In fact, the CSV file is a .txt file with ";" separator

when you extract the ALV in SAP in .txt, it put the "|" separtor which does'nt correspond to .csv
