Expand material master

Hi Gurus

i'm trying to expand the material master. I want to add a new view containing additional fields for our qaulity management. In customizing i've copied the existing QM-View to my new QM2-View. To this new data screen i have added my new subscreens. When i check my new screen in the subsreen overview with the Button "View data screen" i can see my new created QM2-View with all the Fields, Frames etc.

Now, i've got 2 problems:

1. when i enter MM02/MM03 etc. the new QM2-View does not appear in the window "select view(s). On the other hand, after i entered the material master i can change to my new QM2-View

2. in MM02/MM03 etc. on my new QM2-View are completley different fields than i have seen in customizing. Depending to the position where the new QM2-View is located in material master, there are in each case different fields on the view.

I don't no where i can change something. Is there somebody who can help me?

Thanks a lot.

Thomas

Hi Raymond

yes, and i've been gone through the description in customizing. When i place my own fileds on the existing QM-View, they appear in material master. I can modify data in this fields, save and read from and to the database. That does work properly. So i think, that the fields and screens are set up correctly.

I would place them as well on the existing QM-View but in the meantime we have so many new fields, that the screen is to small. So i decide to make my own view.

Regards

Thomas

Did you first read [Note 44410 - Integrating cust.-specific fields in matl master|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/44410] and related notes?
