Hi,

Exits are the way of plugging user code / enhancement to SAP standard transactions.

type of exits are :-

1) Customer exit :- search for string " call customer-function" in the program to reach the function exits.

2) Screen exits :- Provided by SAP to do soem modification on SAP stndard screen's. Go to enhancements to look for the screen exits

3) Field exits :- Applicable on the change of fields.(Obsolete)

Exits are basically componenets of the enhancements .Go to SMOD to search for the right enhancement.Use package for searching

New concept is of BADI's which has advantage on exits that it can have multiple implementation.
