Excise Invoice not created automatically

Hi All,

Whenever I save the commercial invoice in VF01 excise invoice should be created automatically.

But even though Create EI automatically has been ticked in excise group and default excise settings has been done alongwith maintainance of Material and Chapter ID, Customer Excise details has been done.

Can someone please guide me as to why EI is not getting created automatically.

Can you let me know this issue is for all customers / all plants related to that Excise Group?

Hi

Some time system won't Read the sold to party and ship to party codes from Billing document details due some programming Bug.

Kindly apply the Below mentioned SAP Notes and test the cycle.

SAP Note : 1444333-Sold to party not updated for outgoing EI Create Background

SAP Note: 1656519 - Sold to party not updated correctly  while EI creation -VF01

I hope it will solve your issue after applying the SAP Notes.
