Runtime Errors DBIF_RSQL_INVALID_CURSOR

Exception CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB

Invalid interurption of a database selection.

Whenever and ABAP Program is executed it always gives an exception error in development. I am using ECC5.0 with Windows 2003 Enterprise as an OS.

support package level for Basis is SAPKB64016 and ABAP is SAPKA64015

Kindly help me in resolving this issue.

Hi,

This is very common problem and you get dumps in ABAP programs or even running any standard SAP transaction. Pls follow the steps to resolve it:

Step1) Check with your user id in some other machine, or ask someone to logon to SAP in your machine to check if you have the same issue.

Step2) You will then get to know if it is a problem with your user id or your SAP.

Step3) If its an issue with your SAP... you just need to ask the respective person to re-install the SAP GUI.

It should definitely solve your problem.
