estimation format

Hi Guys,

i need a format for estimation of time for interfaces like how can we decide the amount of time required for an interface. This is taking in view the developer.

Please reply urgently. Points will be awarded generously.

Hi,

For any type of work, first after going through the Spec, being a technical person we should decide how much it requires, Based on that we categorize the object whether it is a SIMPLE or MEDIUM or COMPLEX.

To define Time there is no scale. Being a developer it's the duty of developer itself.

Depending on the Amount of Time (no of Man days) the Object category we decide. In any software firm similar type of methodology is followed.

Hi

Here estimation in the same how many hours you required to understand the functional spec,no. of hours for Technical spec preperation, no.of hours for coding, hours for testing like that.

Based on complexity first fix total hours after devide those hours like the above mentioned.
