Error while starting R/3 instance

We are trying to star our R/3 instance but the service DISP+WORK rest in STOPPED status. The only error description we can see in the folder WORK is:

DISP+WORK.EXE stopped: DpCheckProfile [dpxxdisp.c 899]

Do you know the cause?

this needs to be resolved by ur administration or basis persons...Take help of them..

I'm a newbie Sap Administrator....working on SAP system since few months so I am not yet able to solve the problem...I had a look but I've not found anything....none can help me?

Hi,

I have a similar problem with R/3. When our Basis start the database, the oracle status in SAP Administration say its "open" but the R/3 is already strated but connected.

What do we need to check?
