Error while activating a screen copied from another program ??

Friends,

i have a requirement wherin a screen should come as a popup when a button in the selection screen is clicked.

The same screen which needs to be displayed, is also present in another program.

So i copied the screen and the appropriate fields and variables, with the same names etc.

But when i try to activate the code, i get an error stating "Error when generating the selection screen 'XXXX' of report 'XXXX'.

What could be the reason behind this ?

while you are copying the same report name may be carried check once..

but.. anyway..i am not copying the report..

i am copying only the screen and the appropriate fields allocated to it....

If you have copied the screen then you have to use diff screen no that's why you have this problem .

I tried with a different screen number..

still the same error..
