Error when Opening an Excel Attachment

Hello,

I have a program which sends an excel file. When we had our upgrade to ECC6, the error is now encountered when the excel file attachemnt is opened. THe error is "This file is not in a recognizable format. ...."

Anyone who knows how to correct this in ECC6 environment?

Hello,

Check your field length and data type in the internal table and check the field sequence in the internal table and Excel sheet. It should be same as like excel file.

It was working perfectly before our upgrade. THe error only occured when we had our upgrade to ECC6.

Hi Louisse,

Could u pls tell me what have you done to resolve the error of excel as I am too getting the same error "This file is not in a recognizable format.....".

If anybody knows then pls let me know.
