Error when moving the TP to higher boxes

1.When trying to move a Function Module to higher box..i get an error which says IMPORT failed.

2.The detail description of error is:

Warning : Parameter DBLIBPATH is no longer used.

Warning : Parameter DBSWPATH is no longer used.

tp finished with return code : 8

meaning:

A tool used by tp produced errors.

What could be the possible reason for this error?

you can check the transport logs and consult your basis team to get the exact error details
