Error: "HTTP plugin is not active"

I'm getting the following error message:

"HTTP plugin is not active"

My question is simple: how do I activate it?

is ICM - internet communication manager is active and running (check SMICM txn)

Hi,

ICM is currently not running. How do I start it?

The error happens in a custom program. We recently migrated from 4.6 to 4.7 and it seems that not all services are active, like this one.

go to transaction SMICM

then follow menu Administration->ICM->restart->YES

but this you can do only if ICM is configured in your system

Hm, I guess it is not configured then, because there are only 2 options in the menu: exit soft and exit hard.

How do I configure ICM then?
