Error message when edit the text symbol.

Hi, i'm new in SAP .my task is to modify a program which is created by SAP Query. the problem is, i want to add a new field into header. when i click the text element to add a new text symbol , the error message Inconsistencies exist, Display Inconsistencies ? if i clik no, the message "The maximum length of text symbol GH0 has been set to 132". The system also display the error message "The maximum length of text symbol GH0 has been set to 132" when i'm try to modify it. Kindly advice how i can handle this problem. i really have no idea how to change the text symbol.

Please delete text synbnol and create newone.It solve your problem.

tq but when i'm deleted the text symbol, then i run the program, my output not display the text header. GHO symbol is for header. the lenght for this symbol is 132. then i want to change it to 241. the system not allowed.

Please create two text symbolys and print sode by side.

hi,

you can proceed with the requirement ,the message you get is not an error message to be considered.

Usually when we add a field to the header and want to give the description of it in the text element,it displatys this kind of message when a similar field description exists and you need consider. Pls proceed with the requirement and if this problem does not fulfil your requirement,then lets think of an solution.

Maximum allowed length for text symbols is 132 characters only. For details check the following links:
