Error in table maintenance generator

Hi All,

I had created a table created a table maintenance generator and when iam trying to maintain it in sm30 I am getting an error like 'No display authorization for requested data.'

Where i had gone wrong.Is it problem in creating table maintenance generator or in authorization object.

It is related to Authorizations. You do not have access to display data in that table.

Talk to your SAP Basis/Security team to provide necessary authorizations to displays data for that table through SM30

Hi Satya,

You can recreate the table maintainence generator. This time, provide '&NC&' in the authorization group of the table maintainence generation screen.

In my case an authorization object is given for me to assign. Is it the reason why i am getting the error.

Hi Kranti,

If your table maintainece works fine with '&NC&', it'll work fine with the other authorization object as well. It's just a problem of having no authorization. You can talk to your BASIS person for that. Now, if you have been asked to use a particular group, do so. You can be assured that the table maintainece would work perfectly.
